Save the Children has been working here since 1983.  While Malawi still faces big challenges in addressing preventable childhood deaths, widespread malnutrition, and HIV/AIDs, it’s also one of only a handful of African countries on track to reach the reduction in under 5 mortality set out in the Millennium Development Goals.
